BEHIND THE LENS
I grew up in a small town in Western NY. It was in my Middle School darkroom 25 years ago that I fell in love with photography. I love how pictures capture memories, laughs, cries, feelings and emotions that you will never forget.
I went on to receive my BFA in photography at the University of Buffalo. I furthered my interest, when I became a photography / videographer assistant. We photographed weddings, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, family portraits, and other special events.
For the past 15 years, I have been on my own pursuing my love of the arts. I currently teach Fine Arts, Dance, and Theater but photography will forever be my passion.
I am excited by all of the ways I can tell a story through the eyes of a lens.The bride eagerly preparing for her walk down the aisle, The look on the groom's face as he sees his beautiful wife to be, The father who walks his little girl down the aisle to her new life, the dress, the flowers, the emotions, the little moments that make up the big day.
Let’s not forget the wonderful life growing inside you belly, the way your newborn's head wrinkles, the two little teeth peaking through that smile, the way your babies eyes sparkle.
